It’s all right, he tells himself, she’ll be all right, and Tony told him it was just the arm, and it’s all that keeps him going for the next thirty-four hours.  He’s on a mission in Astana and he used to think it was a beautiful city, but now it just reminds him far too much of Budapest.

When he gets home, he goes straight to the hospital wing.  He knows there should be a debrief, he should drop off his gear, hell, he should shower, but when he heads for his quarters, he somehow ends up taking a left when he meant (or maybe he didn’t mean) to take a right, and then he’s down in medical and it’s the first time he’s ever been there voluntarily.

(Except it isn’t voluntary, not at all; if he’d been there, if he’d had Nat’s back like he was supposed to, like he swore they always would, then he wouldn’t be here at all and Natasha would be down in the rec room with the other Avengers and he’d be watching, watching her laugh, and she can never know how much he loves watching her laugh.)

ficlet by jey. hello secretly-in-love-with-natasha clint feelings!

SOMEONE FINALLY SAID IT

So if a teenager is at school for roughly 8 hours, and they are doing homework for 6+ hours, and they need AT LEAST 9 HOURS OF SLEEP FOR THEIR DEVELOPING BRAINS, then they may have 0-1 hours for other activities like eating, bathing, exercise, socializing (which is actually incredibly important for emotional, mental, and physical health, as well as the development of skills vital to their future career and having healthy romantic relationships among other things), religious activities, hobbies, extra curriculars, medical care of any kind, chores (also a skill/habit development thing and required by many parents), relaxation, and family time?  Not to mention that your parents may or may not pressure you to get a job, or you might need to get one for economic reasons.

I will never not reblog this

"…but teenagers have no reason to be stressed."

I’ve adapted to the point where I start doing homework for certain classes during other classes/at lunch/delegating it to other times to make room for things. Also caffeine. I don’t think this is good but oh well.

PREHISTORIC SHARK: MEGALODON

Megalodon is an extinct species of shark that lived 1.5 million years ago and as you can probably tell from the above pictures it was HUGE, here are some few facts

  • It’s teeth were over 7 inches long
  • It’s bite can deliver from 10.2-18.6 tons of force, enough to crush a prehistoric whale’s skull like a grape
  • It feasted on prehistoric whales, dolphins, squids, fish, and even giant turtles
  • It’s fossils have been found all over the world
  • No one knows why it went extinct

That last fact is the scariest fact

#it went extinct because god was like holy shitballs why the fuck did I create this aquatic death machine #*CTRL-Z*
